Well, the first day of my carb-check diet went pretty well, I didn't 'starve' being on a diet, it was balanced and I slept well. Things are looking good and I'm very pleased with myself and my first day of dieting.

Motivated by day 1, day 2 should see similar success but having been there and done that with diets I know that after day 3, sticking to the diet on a daily basis will get tougher and tougher until fresh motivation comes with a weigh in. It's one step at a time, literally. Stepping over to the mirror and not liking what I'm seeing keeps me motivated, so does taking steps up several flights of stairs and being short of breath. Enough of that.
Onward and well, downward!
